French lessons for real life, taught by someone who's been exactly where you are.
I moved to France with zero French and became fluent in nine months. Now I teach the way I wish someone had taught me.
Read my full story →Speaking first, grammar second. Little and often beats cramming, so I build French into everyday life instead of one big study session.
See my method →"I was quite nervous starting as I didn't have much confidence in my French, but Gala made the whole experience really enjoyable. I've improved much more than I expected."
"Gala is an excellent teacher. Thanks to her classes, I've significantly improved my French speaking skills."
"I've been joining the French group classes since March, and she's one of the best, if not the best, teachers I've ever had."
I believe speaking is the number one way to improve. You want to learn French you can start using immediately. Most people start with grammar, build a reading and writing foundation, and then never actually speak because they're too scared of getting it wrong. I think you should dive in immediately.
We recreate full immersion as much as possible, because that's how I learned it. You should be speaking from day one, even before you know much. Incorporate French into your life wherever you can, and avoid burnout along the way.
Instead of two hours a day for one week and then quitting, aim for 30 minutes a day, however that looks:

Get the GuideLearning a language doesn't have to be a struggle or take hours. Some days you're too busy for a structured lesson, but even five to ten minutes of French is enough to keep your progress alive.
That's why I create French content daily. Follow along on Instagram and TikTok, some posts are quick lessons, others are A2 level day in the life clips with French subtitles, so you're picking up vocabulary even on the busiest days.
I'm an American who grew up bilingual and was always obsessed with languages. At 14, I really wanted French, not just to pass a class, so I decided to move to Bordeaux with zero French.
The hardest part wasn't grammar, it was confidence: making myself speak out loud and getting comfortable stumbling over pronunciation instead of staying quiet until it felt perfect. Nine months in, I was speaking fluently.
When I moved back to Miami I kept French part of my life by going to a French high school, and today I'm trilingual. Now I'm moving back to France to reach C2 level and live the culture, not just study it.
That's the whole reason I teach: I love helping people feel confident enough to speak, fall for the culture the way I did, and actually have fun with French instead of treating it like a chore.
